Linux natively have Direct3D 10 and 11! New

A amazing and very important news has been leaked, as we all know, Linux is not the great power in terms of graphics support. Only graphics library OpenGL and native, and implementation of Direct3D (library developed by Microsoft for Windows) is very poor. To run Direct3D games used programs such as Wine, which create an intermediate layer between the software and the OpenGL library.

Well, apparently this is all finished now. Gallium, a free graphics library developed by VMWare and used in the free nVidia driver Nouveau, has implemented the API Direct3D 10 and 11 natively. That is, without intervening layers.

Although still at an early stage, the library is able to perform some basic functions perfectly. The intention of its developers is that you can use any program to improve graphics performance.

also if we consider that, due to the redesign from scratch Wine Direct3D 10 stand badly this version (the 11 is not implemented), is a even better news. Before long, complex games could be running on Linux at full capacity. So now

themselves, "Who said that Linux was good for games?
