s trying to make your panels transparent
some research I realized that was not the ambiance configuration file where all the issues.
Then the steps are:
$ cp-R / usr / share / themes / Ambiance ~ /. Themes /
$ gedit ~ / .themes/Ambiance/gtk-2.0/apps/gnome-panel. rc
Since it opened gedit and edit we bg_pixmap [NORMAL] = "img / panel.png."
The need to comment with a pound "#" leaving it like this:
# bg_pixmap [NORMAL] = "img / panel.png"
and ready, transparent panels in gnome ...
